M'e-mail (ミメル) by Tomy (1998-2006)
A series of electronic toys released by Tomy in Japan from 1998 to 2006, related to phones/PDAs and emails. There's a cute lil bear mascot. Data is exchanged between devices via IC cards, extras of which were sold separately. These were popular enough to get 7 "phone" models, 3 spin-off devices, 1 GBC game, several collabs with other franchises, and an English release via Tiger Electronics.

Stylish M'e-mail - スタイリッシュミメル (2001)
The first folding phone model. Also the first spin-off device in the form of a learning laptop-type device released in 2002, followed by a thermal printer that can print out your email from an IC card. Also in 2002 was an upgraded iteration called the Stylish M'e-mail Sister (スタイリッシュミメル シスター).
